This week I have been working on some fantastic 15mm robot miniatures by Alternative Armies. To me gaming and building a force should always be as affordable and easy as possible, this set certainly falls into both of these categories.   Having had plenty of great experiences with Alternative Armies, I couldn't help but pick up this squad of 10 robots for £6, with playing games of Skirmish Order in mind using the Sci-Fi rules in the book. They look so cool and you could easily think they were 28mm minis based on the quality of the sculpt (if you couldn't see the size of course!!). No clean up was needed, I just sprayed them with a white undercoat and got painting. They didn't take long at all to get to a "table ready" standard (i'm no painting expert, I just do what works for me, I am primarily interested in gaming). 10 minis is more than enough for a game of Skirmish Order if using the bases as individuals rules, or is a great start to an army if using base a...
